Munich, June 14, 2021 – Simply better travel: This summer, FlixTrain is offering travelers the largest route network in Germany to date and is also operating in Sweden for the first time. To accompany the expansion, the Munich-based mobility provider FlixTrain is launching a new brand campaign on June 14 to show how affordable and green rail travel can be. With the slogan "FLIX it", the company describes the solution to many challenges that travelers have experienced in the past. The campaign was conceived and implemented together with the creative agency Iris Germany and accompanies travelers from booking to the start of their FlixTrain journey. In addition to digital out-of-home, display, social media and online video, various commercials can be seen on German and Swedish TV. Sustainable travel now has a new home: With the domain www.flix.com, travelers can now book FlixTrain and FlixBus tickets on one homepage.
FLIX it - Simple, inexpensive and sustainable
In the campaign, the company uses the slogan "FLIX it" to describe the solution to many previously common travel challenges. No seat? - FLIX it! Train ticket too expensive? - FLIX it! The campaign shows the advantages of FlixTrain: easy booking, affordable tickets, short travel times and a modern product that is also sustainable. All FlixTrain trains have a completely new interior with new seats, power sockets at the seat, modernized WCs and Wi-Fi technology including free entertainment. Furthermore, FlixTrain guarantees every passenger a seat - at no extra charge. Thus, the company is setting new standards in train travel and stands for affordable, intuitive, and modern mobility. FlixTrain will be on the road throughout Germany from June 18, 2020, offering people a particularly sustainable and affordable travel alternative by rail. Best of all, passengers travel with a clear conscience, as all FlixTrain trains are powered by 100% green electricity. The green long-distance trains have also been on the rails in Sweden since April. "FlixTrain offers people an attractive travel alternative. With 'FLIX it' we show with a wink that sustainable travel can also be affordable," says Philipp Stracke, Head of Brand at Flix.
"But 'FLIX it' also describes the lifestyle of a new generation of travelers who don't want to wonder if they'll get a seat on the train when they start their journey. Serving these emotional scarcities is what the FLIX brand is all about - and it's also what we see as the future of travel."
FlixTrain cooperates with creative agency IRIS
The campaign was conceived and implemented by the creative agency Iris Germany. Markus Dunz, Managing Director Iris Germany: "Iris has always been a challenger in the agency world. Flix.com: A new digital home for sustainable travel
In addition to low prices, a large network and fast connections, Flix now offers its customers even more convenience in the booking process. From now on, travelers can make their booking via www.flix.com and book FlixTrain and FlixBus tickets even more easily via one website. In addition to single connections, attractive transfer connections between bus and train are also displayed here.
