Flix SE (Flix) today announced the election of its new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Bodo Uebber takes over from the previous Chairman Achim Berg, who will step down from the Supervisory Board on November 28. The board continues to include Flix co-founder Jochen Engert, Jörn Nikolay (General Atlantic), Christoph Jung (HV Capital), Stefan Dziarski (Permira), John Doran (TCV), Marianne Heiß (independent) and Monique Meche (independent). Bodo Uebber has been appointed for four financial years.

Bodo Uebber has extensive experience in the mobility industry as well as in management and finance. As a member of the Management Board of Daimler AG between 2004 and 2019, he was responsible for Finance & Controlling, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Financial Services as well as the topic of new digital mobility services. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board at Bertelsmann since 2011 and at Adidas since 2019. Uebber has also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Evercore Germany since 2020. From 2007 to 2013, he was a member of the Board of Directors at EADS (now Airbus SE), serving as Chairman between 2009 and 2012. The industrial engineering graduate was born in Solingen in 1959.

Uebber takes over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board from Achim Berg, who has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board since Flix SE was founded in 2022 and headed the Advisory Board of FlixMobility since 2016 before the change of name. During his tenure, the company achieved numerous milestones, including the launch of FlixTrain, the expansion into the USA, and the acquisitions of Greyhound and Kamil Koç.
